Telephonic failure

Our telephone landline in Cambridge has been non-functional since (at least) sometime yesterday (Thursday) morning. As I type, we are waiting for the Verizon tech to show up (instead of being in Gloucester closing up the house, grrr). If you've been trying unsuccessfully to reach one or both of us, I suggest trying our cells.
Verizon apologies for the inconvenience (yeah, right).
