It's a little late for this, but still... susandennis, could you pass the word to your guys across the parking lot that the Yankees have left town, and it's all right for them to go back to losing?

Who knew they would even need such a message??!! I'm sure your guys are stunned and stumped. (I have not even heard any chants of Yankees Suck!! after the games.)

I'll pass the word along but my guys might not be in a listening mood. Sorry. Surely they will go back to losing today so at least your guys don't have to totally slink out of town.

Yeah, I caught a bit of the pre-game show, where, in addition to hearing that Manny was out again (not altogether surprising) and Peña was still unavailable (expected), I learned that Lester won't make his start tomorrow, Foulke had back issues yesterday, and Mirabelli was out with a "tweaked" ankle. There is basically no team there.

And it looks like we finally found a position that Youkilis can't play.

Not in bright sun, anyway.
