And we can't spend all of this day in Gloucester (where there is, even now, a recognizable breeze, and where we do have one air-conditioned room, where I am currently seated). Not that this isn't entirely our fault; we have tickets to tonight's Red Sox-Indians game, in view of which I also scheduled a voice lesson for this afternoon. My voice teacher's apartment is, thank goodness, air-conditioned, but the Cambridge house, where jwg will presumably spend much of the afternoon, is not. And Fenway Park isn't, either.
I am going to show up in a puddle of my own sweat.
It's supposed to. Last night was a little better (low of 76); today, while still hot and humid, is not as bad as yesterday, and it's predicted to be much cooler and drier tomorrow.
