Do not, under any circumstances, put in Rudy Seañez with runners on base ever again.

If you have no idea who Terry Francona or Rudy Seañez are, trust me, you don't care.

Rudy was reliable with the Braves and Padres in those situations. <shrug>

True, and that's presumably why the Red Sox acquired him. But he hasn't been this year; going into today's game he had allowed 7 of 11 inherited runners to score. Now it's 10 out of 14. This is a pattern that just can't be ignored.

Yeah, it turned out OK in the end, but it didn't really have to take five fucking hours (never mind using every single pitcher in the bullpen when the next off-day is the All-Star break).
