What we did today

We got up, had breakfast, read the newspaper. Then I took out the trash and mowed the lawn while jwg did the dishes and primed some spots on the free-standing shelves int eh kitchen that he's going to paint. Puttered around a bit in the garden. Read email and LJ.

After lunch we drove into Cambridge. jwg sorted the mail while I went to Somerville for my voice lesson. Then I came back to the house, we changed our clothes, and we wnet off to Cambridge City Hall to get married.

This took a little longer than expected because the City Clerk got caught up in something else before she could get to us, but we had plenty of time. After the ceremony we took a cab over to the Museum of Science to see the Lord of the Rings exhibit, and then went and sat in the little park on the Cambridge side of the river until it was time for our dinner reservation.

We had a delicious and sumptuous repast at Salts, after which we walked back to the house, changed back into shorts and T-shirts and drove back to Gloucester.

I think it might be about time for bed.
