LJ and/or mail oddity

Today I've received 3 or 4 (so far) instances of email notifications for LJ replies that were posted in late June. (I'm pretty sure I got the notifications when they actually happened, too.) I don't know if this is LJ, Panix, or some other email-entity. Has anyone else seen anything like this today?

it's LJ. some of these are ones for which i never did receive notifications at the time, i note.

I've seen this too and they don't go to my Panix account anymore.

According to status, LJ is cleaning out its backlog of e-mail notifications. I had not seen some of the comments I've today received notifications for.
