Date: 2004-06-11 07:58 am (UTC)BTW, was it the Padres who blew that 5-run lead? I know the Pads and Yankees are playing some time this week. And I know that Padres have a solid starting rotation, a good offense, and a crappy bullpen, so it's exactly the sort of thing that could happen to them. (It's been hard trying to find reasons to get excited about the Padres ever since Tony retired.)

No, the Padres are playing the Yankees starting today (they just finsihed losing 2 or 3 to the Red Sox.) In this instance, it was the Rockies, although there have ben others.
