Well, that's a first

When I read the Boston Globe in the morning, the last thing I get to is the back page of the Metro section, which often includes a music review st the bottom of the page. Today, I saw that it was a review of a concert last Sunday afternoon: cellist David Finckel and pianist Wu Han playing all five Beethoven cello sonatas. I thought "Wait a minute, how come we didn't have tickets to that?" So I looked in my calendar, and sure enough, there it was; somehow, we both had simply forgotten about it.

I can't remember this ever happening before. Maybe we are getting
old.

You put in an extra left-angle-bracket.

Major: "Maybe we are getting old."
It beats the hell out of the alternative.

I have a song about that, a fairly recent one. It's in the major mode. (I sing by ear; I don't have perfect pitch and don't worry about where I am w.r.t. 440Hz unless I have to write it down.)

Now fixed.

True.
