susandennis, take your weather back!
May. 24th, 2013 11:02 amWe were last in Gloucester last Saturday. In accordance with long-standing tradition, we're planning to move up there for the summer this coming Sunday. In between, we were intending to bring up the seedlings that I started in the laundry room here, and get them into the ground (the tomatoes *really* want to get into the ground).
So every day since Monday it's been cloudy with a chance of rain, which is now expected to continue right through Sunday.
susandennis, I'm sure you'd love it, but it's kept us from oing what we need to do. It's especially annoying that, through all this, there hasn't actually been very much rain, and in fact it didn't rain at all during the day yesterday, so we could have gone up if (a) we'd known that was going to happen and (b) we hadn't made other plans.
Doing the move in the rain isn't an attractive option, but it looks like we're stuck with it. And I prefer not to try to transport plants at the same time as lots of other stuff, but it looks like we're stuck with that too.
