We're back from our week in the Galápagos. It was wonderful. There will be some details when I get my act together, and eventually [livejournal.com profile] jwg will post pictures. We saw lots of marine iguanas; we practically couldn't avoid stepping on them (and the sea lions) in some places. Also tons of seabirds. Relatively few of the obligatory giant tortoises. Plus all kinds of underwater beauties. Also, I know the icon isn't quite right, but I don't have any appropriate pictures yet, so a land lion is the best I could do.

So, for now, I'll just leave you with this: If an anion is negative and a cation is positive, just what the heck is a sealion?

And what the heck is a bunion?

If you have two sets of five of them, is that a tension?

If they form the shape of an automobile, is that a carrion?
