Lest we forget

rscYesterday was that one day a year on which the integer used to approximate my age changes. I mention this not to solicit acknowledgements of any kind (although I thank those of you who sent me greetings), but merely in order to explain why I received the card I'm about to describe.

jwg wanted to make sure that I didn't forget what the abovementioned integer actually is. So, to start with, he handed me this envelope:
Inside was this card, the outside of which might have been a reference to our upcoming trip to Tanzania, or might have just been a continuation of the theme of not forgetting:
Inside was a message, to make sure I really don't forget:
I have about five months to come up with an appropriate response.
Meanwhile, thanks tojered for his mention of Radius a couple of months back, thereby inspiring us to give it a try. A very lovely meal indeed, although we did not follow jered's example by ordering the tasting menu.
