Chargers 54, Lions 14. Decisive indeed. But let's not hear any more complaints about the "unsportsmanlike" Patriots running up the score, OK?

Um, we played backups the entire second half. Can they help it the Lions are so bad that the 3rd string RB racked up 100 yards? (You did realize Tomlinson only played a quarter and a half, right? And still managed 116 yards, which was still behind 3rd-string Darren Sproles' 122?) Or that Kitna threw three consecutive passes to the Chargers, the second 2 to LBs? The Chargers were playing guys I had never heard of on both sides of the ball, and I thought I knew that roster inside and out.

Had it been the Patriots, Brady and Moss would still have been in there at the end. :p

No, actually, I wasn't aware of any of this stuff. Well, I'll confess that, when I looked online to make sure I had the score right, I noticed that the Chargers scored most of their points early. But how could I resist the opportunity to pull your chain?
