Maybe I shouldn't have been glancing through TV Guide immediately before reading espn.com's Major League Baseball page.
Reading along in a piece about hitters possibly available for trade this winter, I saw the following in connection with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays:
which I didn't read quite correctly the first time, with the result that I did a big double-take at the idea of Eva Longoria playing infield for the Rays. Hmm... maybe that way they'd actually get some fans to show up to watch them play.
