A secret "benefactor"?

rscI have now received the three most recent issues of the Advocate. The mailing label indicates that the subscription runs through August of 2005. Now, my brain has developed a few holes here and there, but I think it would remember if it had bought a subscription to the Advocate. (Actually, if I thought my brain had done any such thing, I might decide it was due for trade-in for a more reliable model.)
So the only logical conclusion is that somebody decided that I needed the Advocate, and anonymously gave me a sub. I can't imagine who it might have been.
