Date: 2004-07-26 10:45 am (UTC)So who's this Damon guy?
This game went on late for central time, so of course I was concerned about you folks. And I, too -- yes, even I who had no previous idea who this Damon guy was -- got all heart-stopped scared at the grand slam. Since I can go five years without caring a naught for any particular game one way or the other, this is an odd thing.
But not as odd as Friday, which was monthly Bear Night at Trixx in St. Paul. They were broadcasting the Twins/Orioles game on the video screens, and of course I got sucked in. (For the Twins/Orioles games? Huh?) But 9pm came and the bar turned back into a regular bar which means the video screen switches to dance-bar stuff. This happened at the bottom of the eighth.
Nobody seemed to care at all.

So who's this Damon guy?
Opinion is divided as to whether the look suits him (I think it does).

Well, they're just back from a West Coast trip, so this is nothing. But their games with the Yankees always seem to be longer than the others.
