rscRemember our mystery plants? They hadn't been looking so great -- they kept getting smaller and losing more leaves -- so we decided we'd better put them in the ground right away, in a temporary spot in the lawn garden; besides, as ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
jwg pointed out, it would be wasted effort to dig a whole new bed if the plants were just going to die anyway.
Just as well we didn't go to that effort. We'll never find out if they were going to be 3 feet high or 5 feet high or as high as an elephant's eye; they didn't make it. We're not sure what we did wrong, but, well, they're plants, these things happen.
