jwg, I got a new passport recently, and also decided to find all my old passports. This is my 7th; the first was obtained during my junior year in college, in preparation for an Asian tour with the college chorus. At some point I'll look through them and (probably) post some stuff about where I went on each one, but in the meantime here are the seven photos, taken at irregular intervals over the course of the past 49 years.

The reason only the 1985 photo is in color is that I couldn't find it on my first search, and when we scanned the others John inadvertently told the scanner (or the software) to do them in black and white; then in preparation for making this post I looked again and found the missing one, and this time it got scanned in color. (Of course the first two were in black and white to begin with.) I cannot explain the strange background on the 1973 photo.
