OK but vexed

In case any of our LJ-but-not-Facebook friends were wondering, we're fine. We got an "alert" phone call (I assume from the city of Cambridge) at about 7:00 AM that unfortunately didn't contain an actual message, but we've gathered that we're not supposed to leave the house (although, paradoxically, we're apparently allowed to drive). We're supposed to be on our way to NEFFA right now to help set up our dance group's food booth, but I guess they're going to have to manage without us for a while.
