Conflicting addictions

Several people at last night's contra dance were surprised to see us -- they assumed we would have stayed home to watch the Sox game (or actually gone to it). But no, this is the first JP contra I've been able to get to this season, and I wasn't going to miss it.

Little did we or anyone else know that, even staying at JP Licks until they closed at midnight, and then going back to Gloucester, we would get to watch the last inning and a half. Which, as it turned out, we would have been better off without.

We slept a little late this morning.
