Probably it means no more than that there are some hazards to watching The West Wing shortly before going to bed.

I dreamed that I was some kind of (newly-hired?) aide to Josh Lyman, and that we had left the office for a bit to take a walk in the woods, while discussing/arguing about some policy matter [the budget? there were some kind of negotiations going on]. For some reason we ended up on different but parallel paths; my path ran along the top of a little bluff and Josh's was at the bottom -- we were still near enough to talk. For some reason the question came up of whether we were going to return to the office by different routes, and at some point one of us dropped a set of keys at the foot of the cliff -- I don't remember whose keys they were or which of us dropped them, but in any case it was clearly my responsibility to retrieve them. This would mean either walking back to the point where the paths diverged (by now quite a considerable distance) or jumping off the cliff, which was now about 10 feet(?) high -- not high enough to be obviously fatal, but enough to be somewhat scary., especially since there were rocks here and there at the bottom. Anyway, I ended up jumping, and for some unknown reason there was a round table [somewhat like the one in our kitchen in Gloucester] at the bottom of the cliff, and I was able to kind of grab the edge and flip myself around so as to land safely, after which we headed back to the office together.

[At this point I vaguely recall a digression having to do with a vehicle that had to be moved into the parking lot, but I can't remember any details.]

So then we were walking down a long, broad corridor in the office building [which bore absolutely no physical resemblance to the actual West Wing set]; there were a lot of people either standing around or busily moving from one place to another, and it was pretty noisy. We went to an upper [2nd?] floor, although at one point I had trouble keeping up with Josh because of the crowd; we then had a very West Wing-like dialogue, which went approximately like this:

Josh: I want you to leave me alone for now. Come knock on my door...six-ten...
Me: [somewhat confused] 6:10? [looking at my watch, which reads just about 6:10]
Josh: I meant that my office is 610... knock on the door around nine o'clock.
Me: [anxiously] When does this thing start?
Josh: Start!? It's been going on for months!
Me: [somewhat exasperated sigh] No, I mean, what time--
Josh: [placatingly] Oh, after that. After that.

Then he sort of vanished, and I wandered off through the crowd, and then I woke up.
